For this work, I dipped paper into hot beeswax. Using the fragile material thus created, I constructed a larger-than-life-size structure to investigate how the material behaves on a large scale and the resulting changes in its form. Visitors were able to enter the installation to experience the material and its scent at close quarters. Over time, its shape changed due to the weather or its own weight. This change reveals the material’s properties to us.
